      How it is scored

      • Forced to give way – 1 point: An AI merchant has to give way because of you although it is the stand-on vessel under the rules of the road (you cross from its port side or overtake it).
      • Close quarters – 2 points: You come closer than 0.1 nm (185 m) to an AI ship.
      • Grounding – 3 points: Your ship runs aground.

Counted at sea outside the port zones, only while making way and only for ships that are contacts in your picture. Mission ships (escort, inspection, rescue) and enemies do not count. The “Best navigator” ranking orders by points per 100 nm (fewer is better), from 50 nm in the round. The rating starts afresh every round.
